Vision Purpose Emmanuel Rodriguez Ricky VonWerger Campaign Models Welcome & Introduction Programs and Services In Our Own Voices, Inc. Presents "The overall experience was fun and enriching. Enriching on a few different levels- for myself as well as the relationships built during the project. A couple of the people a part of the campaign I consider friends- so to work with them collectively to help promote and make statements of health and empowerment, for our community, added value to us as members of the community as well as IOOV as an organization within the community." "As a Latino gay man it is my responsibility to bring awareness to my community. Within the Latino community most don’t talk about "taboo" subjects, such as sex. This was a way for me to educate others on the many barriers Latino and other POC MSM communities face on a consistent basis." "At first I was a bit apprehensive in participating. After long discussions with my significant other, however, I saw the importance of being part of a campaign that is trying to create a change and direct the narrative as Gay, Bisexual, Queer, and Questioning Men to be more conscientious of their sexual health which isn’t talked about as much in our communities." Mikey Mullin "It is in my nature to be an advocate for this community in the best way I know how and this campaign not only brings it to light, but puts it out for the community to see."
