Manono in need of redevelopment . It was built in 1956; 33% of buildings are portables; nearly 50% are 50+ years old. Upgrades address programmatic, building systems, health and safety, and code compliance needs. Expand program offerings at Palamanui. Explore satellite facilities North and South of HI. Recently revised Developmental Education. Remove cost as a barrier to entry (Hawai'i Promise) Address indirect costs through scholarships. Identify needs & connect students to services. Expand the ‘Elama Project. Expand the Early College Program. Poverty Informed Kauhale. Vibrant HI initiative Closing the Achievement Gap Workforce Development How can you help? Education as a philanthropic investment. Community connections. Lending your voice to ensure education remains a public good and a community investment To offer a 21st century education we need 21st century facilities.
