Transcript: Mentoring Program The minimum GPA is a 3.3. Scholars receive up to $3,000 to work with a professor. Most students work on faculty mentor's research project. Undergraduate Research "Anything is research" This office helps students into decisions based on research. Some of the questions that they will help you answer is which form of research will benefit you the most. Also they help you through either individualized meetings or you getting involved through the Discover Program which lasts an entire semester. Lastly, students can use these services from guest speakers or ambassadors. Study Abroad You can use undergraduate research to travel to the place you want to with the study abroad program. For example, recently a student got to go to South Africa because he was doing research about the World Cup. How to Get Started This matches students with mentors (usually grad students but also other faculty members) for professional relationships. Helps to build relationships with teachers and other important figures at the school. Program that will be listed on your transcript that matches you with a mentor/professor in your major. Not only does this add credit, but also is simply a great experience to have, and skill to know for the future.
