The idea of graphic design is to create and captivate or inspire a specific audience. Graphic Designers usually work for advertisements such as magazines, brochures or reports. OVERVIEW RESPONSIBILITIES RESPONSIBILITIES Graphic designers are usually expected to meet with their clients and discuss the layout, and elements of the project. Being able to present and understand ideas with confidence will be expected. They are also responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing works to what the clients needed or desired. Revising works is also very important to improve what you could’ve done better. People who are successful with this job are paid well. People who are starting out this job usually start making $30,000 per year. The average salary for a graphic designer is $48,288 per year in Toronto. Highly experienced graphic designers can make an average of $60,000 per year in Canada. Having recognition can also help you improve your chances of getting this job, especially being known for something related to your job, whether if that was a job you took before that had the same set of skills you will need to become a graphic designer.
