Transcript: He's the man-Ashin and Hanna Mampalil A godly father helps his children when they are in need My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person: He believed in me-Jency and Jenny George We all appreciate the work and dedication that all the Fathers of our Church have done in helping raise all of us and contribute to our growth Or in other words... My father taught me that I represent more than just myself and to handle everything that life throws with dignity and confidence. A godly father is faithful, honors his marriage vows, protects his children, and shows constant allegiance to his Heavenly Father Colossians 3:21 - "Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged." Proverbs 28:20 - A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent. A godly father is affectionate to his children Genesis 18:19-For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, so that the LORD will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him A godly father is righteous and raises his children to be righteous Our Dad Deuteronomy 6:6-9 - "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
