Title, Problem & Background.

Transcript: Errors: 1. The sugar water wasn't strong enough. 2. If the egg wasn't in a stable environment before the lab. Title, Problem & Background. Procedure and Data. Hypothesis: If we put an egg without a shell in salt water, then the egg will become hypertonic. Materials: 1 chicken egg plasma membrane 2 solutions of your choice Balance 1 glass jar/cup Vinegar 1 string/yarn 1 ruler 1. The substance that we put the egg in is the IV and DV was the result of what happened to the egg. 2. The control was the egg in the regular water and we needed it to compare the outcomes. 3. The egg swelled more in the water because the egg had more solution than the water. 4. The egg shrunk in sugar water because the water had more solution than the egg. 5. The results in questions 3 & 4 support our hypothesis because the egg swelled in water and shrunk in sugar water. 6. Osmosis is the diffusion of water. Osmosis is a passive transport method which moves water molecules from high to low concentration. 7. Passive transport doesn't require cell energy. Active transport requires ATP. Passive moves cells from high to low concentration. Data: Conclusion, Sources of Error and Works Cited. Procedure: 1. Take one chicken egg plasma membrane and place it into vinegar. Keep it in until the shell of the egg is off. 2. Once the shell is off, place the egg into a glass jar/cup of sugar water. Keep it in the sugar water for about 24 hours. 3. Take the egg out and measure it with the string/yarn, going all the way around the egg, then taking it off to measure the string with the ruler. 4. Repeat steps 2-3 if desired for more data. Conclusion: In this lab, we observed the effects of how an egg in sugar water reacts (hypotonic, isotonic, hypertonic). As seen in the data, the egg increased in both length and weight, until the 4th day, in which the weight dropped about 30 g. This lab proved our hypothesis wrong because the egg was hypotonic, and it expanded, which is why the weight and length increased. Egg Lab Presentation By: Noah, Daniel, and Hansen. Transcript: By: Layne Ogle and Emily Rose Place your logo here Every Decision Counts Pre-Production Brain Storming We came into spring presentations with a clear mindset that we wanted to do a happy fun film. However over the course of a few weeks we changed our minds to do a more serious and informative topic. We decided to go with abortion because it is a problem we face today. Therefor, our targeted audience is teens and young adults. picture of story board Story board video Every Decision counts when we were filming we decided to use a lot of low angle shots so that we didn't show anyone's face. We wanted to do this because our topic is very controversial and no one really wants there face to be tied to a controversial topic. filming The equipment we used for our video was an iPhone for filming because its better quality than some of our school cameras. We used Imovie for editing because with our busy schedules it was more convenient because we had it on a laptop at home, and we were both more familiar with it. Lastly we used a Canon Rebel camera to take all of our photos in our portfolio. Equipment The audience is intended for teenage women and young adults. It's also for everyone because we want to show awareness and show you abortions are a big problem to our society today Audience t-shirt design T-shirt design website website https://everyprecioussecond.weebly.com/importance.html Rights and Information Our music came from sound cloud and it was free to download. The locations for filming were a house, a clinic, and a car The Second song all of me was a cover By:Daniel Jang The first song Say Something was also a cover By: Daniel Jang When we were filming we had to find a location we could use as the clinic without showing the location. Also when we were filming we had to work around the equipment already there because it didn't go with our film. Lastly we had to find actors that would be able to be in our film. This was kind of hard because there were only a few select days where we could film. struggles problems we over came

Scientists believe that reducing exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays can decrease the risk of skin cancer. Americans want to know how they can protect their skin while still having fun outdoors. Rub It On Remember to bring sunscreen everywhere, not just to the pool or beach. Many burns occur when outdoor activities last longer than expected. Use a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, generously apply it 30 minutes before going outdoors and reapply it frequently throughout the day, especially after swimming or exercise. Avoiding the sun during the midday hours provides the best defense against skin cancer. Sunscreen Sense Tips to "spring" into good health! Spring Veggies and Fruits 1. Asparagus 7. Strawberry 2.
