Transcript: For the deck I followed exactly how it was shaped. When I was building my model I decided to put everything that was on my landscape design but add a couple new things to make it look better. What was your landscape style and deck design number that you chose for your backyard design? Why? I chose a formal/informal landscape style and deck design #5. I chose formal/informal because I like that it doesn't have the restrictions that a regular formal or informal landscape style have.The reason I chose the deck that I did was because I felt that it fit with the theme of formal/informal. Everyday I was there I was hard at work trying to get the work do though sometimes I just blanked but overall kept on task. I think the one major thing that didn't work well was the way I plotted everything so that I couldn't put in fake grass. The lesser substitute was to paint it. What is cool in your backyard that you would want to have in your own one day? I would have to say the most successful part of my model had to be the pond. I feel like it really worked where I had put it. I think if I was going to do this again I would make the layout better so that it doesn't look like there is lots of blank space and add more bushes and flowers. What do you think was the most successful aspect of your model? What do you think did not work well with your model? What looked good on your drawing but not on your model and vice versa? Did you follow your landscape design and deck design when you built the model? I think if I had to pick one thing it would be the pond. I pick the pond because they look nice and are a neat thing because you can have fish in it and ducks as well. What would you do differently if you were to do this assignment again? Pretty much everything looked as i had planned it when i drew it on the paper. I only added new things. Landscape Presentation Give an honest evaluation of your work habits during the ISP.
