The tree is dead because there are no leaves and its missing branches of it. The lighting of the picture was changed into a color mode called Dramatic warmth. I changed this picture to Black and white so the statue would stand out more and not be colorful which takes the dark mood about it out. The mood of the picture is scary and dark because its showing white walls than all black windows. its also scary because there is no lights on in the house and no cars or people in the house. The mood of the picture is alone because there is nothing just a a street and one motorcyclist. The picture is in black and white to give it a scarier look and to make it seem old which sometimes makes it scarier. Topic 5 Gothic picture 5 I choose this picture as Gothic because its a Cactus and there sharp and dangerous. The picture is a black and white picture to give it a scarier look and was edited to show shadow to make the cactus stand out more. Topic 6 Gothic Picture 6 Gothic Picture 7 This Black and white picture of a gate is Gothic because there is no light on the other side of the gate and all there is is darkness. The mood of this picture is dark because on the other side it is dark and you cant see what is on the other side of the gate. The picture of the swamp is Gothic because there are a bunch of trees surrounding it and unclear water which doesn't show what is on the other side of it. The mood of the picture is frightening because there is no light source other than the sun with a lot of wild creatures like spider webs on the trees. The picture is black and white. Gothic picture 8 I choose this picture as Gothic because it represents someone who murdered someone and but the body into the water and now is looking at it. Weather Villain Villain Emily Grierson How How Emily was both the protagonist and antagonist. She was the main character of the story, and was seen as a villain by the towns people and Homer Barron. On one level, she exhibits the qualities of the stereotypical southern “eccentric”: unbalanced, excessively tragic, and subject to bizarre behavior. Emily enforces her own sense of law and conduct, such as when she refuses to pay her taxes or state her purpose for buying the poison. How is it Gothic? is representative of the Southern Gothic stories since the themes of love lost, death, and murder are present in it. ... Then, later on in the story, Emily denies her father's death and refuses to let people come in her house to get the body.
