Transcript: When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit they brought death into the world which is the key words for the fall. The devil came as a serpent to eve one day and started talking to her. He had told her that God didn't want them to eat the furit because they would see like God. Eve fell for the ways of the Devil and ate the fruit then gave it to Adam and he ate it too. Some time after the flood the people decided to make a town and have a tower to heaven . Back then everyone spoke the same language. God saw that the tower they were making would lead them away from God so he decided to give people different languages. You can find this in Genesis 11 The Early Monarchy The Rapture The Exile of Israel The Exile of Judah Moses Saves the Day Different Languages Entering The Holy Land After the reign of Solomon the nation of Israel split into two nations, Israel and Judah. In 734 BC and in 722 BC Israel was conquered by the Assyrians. Conquered is they key word associated with The Exile of Israel because it is what the Assyrians did to them. The first attack in 734 BC only drove them out for a little but in 722 Israel was completely Demolished. You can read about the Exile of Israel in 2 Kings. God made the world in seven days. In the first 3 days God made the heavens and the earth, the sun, sky, and land. The other 4 days God made plants, animals, and the first humans; Adam and Eve. Genesis 1 tells us about the creation of the world. After the Israelites figured out that the judges weren't really working out for them they decicded that they wanted to have kings which is the key word for The Early Monarchy. The prophet Samuel was chosen by God to find a king for Israel and he picked a man named Saul. Saul first did good but then turned away from God and was replaced as king. The new king was a young man named David who was a real servant of the Lord. After David died his son Solomon became king and built a temple for the Lord and was a really wise king but got obsessed with women and strayed away from God. During Jesus' life he performed many miracles and had great teachings. Some people like the high priests did not believe that Jesus was the messiah and accused him of Blastphemy. Jesus died for us and washed the sins of everyone away when he did. You can read all about the Saviour of the world in the whole New Testament. For 400 years the Israelites were waiting for a messiah which is the key words associated with The Years of Silence. There were no prophets or major happenings in these years. All there was, was talking of a coming Saviour who would free them of their sins. Some Israelites had become impatient and decided to worship false gods during this time. There is no where to read about this because little happened. Continuous pattern The Conquest of Canaan Israel's Enslavement Kings The Flood For 400 Years The Israelites were slaves for the egyptians. One day A hebrew man named Moses, who had lived with the Pharoah himself, was called by God to save his people and for Moses to save the day which is the key word for Israel's Enslavement. Moses went to the pharoah and told him to let his people go. Pharoah said no and so God sent ten plagues to Egypt and on the last one he let them go. You can read about Israel's Enslavement in almost all of the book of Exodus. One Day God called a man named Abram to follow him. After Abram agreed, God changed Abram's name to Abraham. God made a covenant with Abraham that he would some day have a great nation and many decendants. Now Abraham had a covenant with God which is the key phrase for The Call of Abraham. You can read about Abraham in Genesis 22. Driven out After sin was put into the world the people because rotten and evil inside so the sin had to be washed away. God went to the only righteous man left named Noah. He told Noah to build a huge ark and put a male and female animal on it. Noah and his family were on the 40 days and 40 nights until a dove brought back a leaf one day. You can find this in Genesis 7-8. Birth of The Universe The Call of Abraham In The Conquest of Canaan the Israelites were now entering their holy land God had promised them which is the key words associated with The Conquest of Canaan. After the 40 years of wandering in the desert the sinful generation of the Israelites had died along with Moses. They were now led by a man named Joshua who was gaining the holy land from Canaan
