Transcript: In Washington government spending on higher education relative to personal income has consistently been above the U.S. average. In the 1999-2000 period, Washington ranked 15th among the states in state and local government K-12 education spending per capita. In fiscal year 2010 Washington was ranked 32nd. Delaware taxes and revenue Delaware has no requirements for standardized individual health insurance policies or the plans that people buy if their employer or government does not cover them. Delaware health insurance policies are required by Delaware to include at least one benefit as mandated, like childhood immunization and mammograms. Individual and Delaware family insurance companies are allowed to sell policies that are not necessarily included in the mandated benefits like supplies and equipment for diabetes and chemical dependency treatment. The provision of assistance to daily living is usually not included. The Medicare for people aged 65 and older have minimal long term care services even if is anticipated that these people need more long term care more often any other age group. Michigan Health Care Policies PUBLIC SCHOOL FUNDING IN Louisiana The state and local funding for schools in Louisiana is the Minimum foundation Program (MFP). The Louisiana Constitution require the state Board of elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) annually develop and adopt which determines the minimum cost of the foundation program of education, only the legislature passes by concurrent Resolution without making changes to the formula. The MEP formula includes factors that provide more funding for special classes of students. The State law requires 70% of the MEP revenues to be spent for instructional purposes only.
