She discovers that Jesus has risen from the dead. Jesus is known as the teacher of the church and had 12 disciples. The Stations of the Cross: 1. Jesus is condemned to die. 2. Jesus carries his cross. 3. Jesus falls the first time. 4. Jesus meets his mother. 5. Simon helps Jesus carry his cross. 6. Veronica wipes Jesus's face. 7. Jesus falls for the second time. 8. Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem. 9. Jesus falls the third time. 10. Jesus is stripped. 11. Jesus is nailed to the cross. 12. Jesus dies on the cross. 13. Jesus is taken down from the cross. 14. Jesus is laid in the tomb. In the Catholic church, the Holy Spirit is also known as the spirit. The Spirit's main role is to be the guide to the members of the Catholic church. The symbols of the Holy spirit consists of: Water: signifies new life, regeneration, and renewal which are necessary in the Catholic belief of salvation. Annointing: strengthens members of the church in their time of need (usually when ill). Fire: symbolizes transitioning, and changes the guide for Catholics from adolescent years to adulthood. Dove: peace, guide from violence and mischief. The Holy Spirit is fully God and had seven gifts as well as twelve fruits. The twelve fruits are: Love (Charity): loving God and others like you love yourself. Faithfullness: keeping promises as well as your loyalty to God. Joy: being glad with what you have. Modesty: moderation in action. Peace: eveything works out nicely when God is within us. Patience: love that endures life's suffering. Self-Control: discipline can be achieved through maintaining emotions and desires. Chastity: integrating sexuality with spirituality. Goodness: inclines us to wish to do good to everyone without distinction. Benignity: results of goodness in words and actions. Long suffering: ability to have patience without "encouragement". Continence: represses passion. Praying is a conversation with God or with the saints in which one may request for good things, apologize, seek forgiveness, or talk about many more things that would be incorporated in a conversation. Praying is recognizing the presence of God or the saints. One can strengthen this recognition of the presence of God through prayer, which builds his or her relationship with God.
