Transcript: How do we as Christians act when we're closest to God? How do we feel when we pray our best prayers? How do we act when we are furthest from God? - What types of things fill your bucket? -Find out what type of things replenish your soul. -First it is important to understand why you're so depleted in the first place. -Do not think that replenishment activities are a form of selfish entertainment, but it is vital to the end goal of living your life at its best. -When you are depleted don't look at anyone to take you out, but it's your responsibility to fill your bucket. -Exercise increases your energy, and your overall quality of life. -Also eating nutrition packed foods increases energy. -Sleep is a big part of keeping your energy bucket full, you must get enough sleep to have enough energy. -It is important to keep your energy bucket full. Ask God to give you insight on why you are running on empty. - Saying NO • Hard to say no to people at church. • Important to not let yourself get spent so you don't get depleted and bottom out. • Depletion can be costly • It doesn't just drain you, it affects the people around you. Cost is too high. Some may ask themselves, how can I have fun when we as a people are far from Christ? That thinking allows you to get depleted Finding a type of recreation that gives you life, that fills your bucket!
