Theres a large presence of science and arts in the area as Massachusetts is home to some of the best technical institutes in the world. It’s a private college with no religious affiliation but is known to be a great college for religious students who wish to study science while freely expressing and practicing their religion, especially since there is huge diversity in the area It is a medium sized school. There are about 4,200 undergraduates studying on this 95-acre campus which offers both sex-based and coed living spaces , it also has 15 sorority/fraternity houses A majority of classes are very small (2-9 students in each single professor class) BME engineering, Mechanical engineering, and Electrical engineering are the most popular majors. It is also the only US college to offer bachelors ,masters, and doctoral in robotic engineering. WPI is also #7 on pay scale of the average salary of graduates nationwide ,and 90+ % of grads have a job within 6 months. They also offer a unique 5 year program to earn both your bachelors and masters as an undergrad and gain graduate studies credits in advance.
