Transcript: Barrister Barristers give specialist legal advice to their professional clients, such as legal executives and solicitors. They also represent individuals and organisations in court such as public requests. There are different categories Barristers usually specialise in a particular area of law such as criminal, wills and trusts, patents and environmental legislation. It is hard to give an exact number as for how much Barristers earn a year as a large percentage are self-employed.
