Attack: When you play attack you are playing offense. You have short sticks and can not pass the 50 yard line. Midfield: When you play midfield you are playing both attack and defence. You use a short stick like attack. Defense: When you play defence you are doing the opposite job as attack. You can't pass the fifty yard line and have a big stick. Transcript: Womens Lacrosse Girls lacrosse is a hybrid between hockey, field hockey, soccer and basketball. The object of the game is to get the ball into the net. It is a game of skill but involves quick thinking. Stick, cleats, goggles, mouth guard….that's it. (Except for the brave goalie). Girls don’t wear all the pads the boys do. Big difference in the sticks. Men's Stick Women's Stick Numerous rules Always played with 12 players including the goalie (unless in yellow or red card situation). Defense – job is to protect the goalie and to transition the ball up the field (strong players). Midies – Versatile players ready to score or defend and must run the entire field. Center – Takes the draw and is the communicator on the field (Captain) Homes – Object is to score. Major Fouls – Roughing, check to head, slash, holing of an opponents Crosse, reach across, blocking, and charging. Minor – Covering, hand ball, throw her Crosse, illegal draw, illegal sub. Club Our goal is to become an official varsity team. Transcript: The other team begins to catalyze us by bashing and harasing us on the feild. As the game contunies we continue to avert from any confrontations with the other team. By being amiable towards the other team and wary of how we responed to the other team throughout the game it brought us towards a great victory. Hard work plays of on and off the feild. LACROSSE As we warm up before each game it allows us to see the contention of the other team. Our whole team is elated with the result of a victory and it reminds us why we play lacrosse and kept a positive attitude throughout the game. As our team enters every game our coach tells us to keep our composure. We are always reminded that without this type of manner we could have to pay for the ramification of our actions. Our goal is to make the other team feel petrified when we walk on the feild. Because we dont react to the actions of the other team throughout the whole game they realized that there actions were futile to us
