Transcript: Get to know the artist He was born on December 16, 1940(1940-12-16) In Turin Italy From 1963 to 1965, Boetti began to create works out of then unusual materials such as plaster, masonite, plexiglass Alighiero e Boetti Likes and Dislikes Contrast At seventeen, Boetti discovered the works of the German painter Wols and the cut canvases of Argentine-Italian artist Lucio Fontana. Boetti's own works of his late teen years, however, are oil paintings somewhat reminiscent of the Russian painter Nicolas de Staël Alighiero E Boetti Mappa 1983 No Form No Space DISLIKE: There is no dimension to the maps. This is the end LIKES: We like the political nature of his designs We like the simplicity of his mappas We like how he didn't paint the Mappas, but instead he hired people to embroider it. He specialzed in arte povera, a politically infused art know for its simplicity. He made several world maps, through twinning, from the early 70s to the early 80s. Shows the world, politically, in the year 1983. And Died on Febuary 24th,1994 He created the Mappa in Afganistan, and hired Afgani and Pakistani artisans to create and embroider the annual mappa artwork. He died of a brain tumour in Rome in 1994 at the age of 53 Boetti moved to Paris to study engraving. In 1962, while in France he met art critic and writer Annemarie Sauzeau, whom he was to marry in 1964 and with whom he had two children, Matteo (1967) and Agata (1972) Color Shape Active as an artist from the early 1960s to his premature death in 1994, Boetti developed a significant body of diverse works that were often both poetic and pleasing to the eye while at the same time steeped in his diverse theoretical interests and influenced by his extensive travels. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Texture changes the way you look at that image, E.g if you had a picture of rose petals, then they would look soft. Spot the difference! Size and position - the size and position changes the whole image, the bigger the BMP the more blurry the picture. Qualities VECTOR IMAGE composition - Where everything is placed&structured. Computer Web Graphics A bitmap image is made up of 256 square pixel colours that when you inlarge them, they will go fuzzy because the computer has not pin pointed the main points, so the colour inlarges instead of the image. As you can see the more you zoom in the more blurry the image gets (if its a bitmap image though) Which can be a problem for companys, because if that company wants a BIG logo, then the bigger they have it the more blurry it will get. More Qualities by Lauren Davies Text - text helps you to discover more information about the picture, it could describe what kind of image it is. character and objects - characters can be used to represent the company (E.g logos, packaging, posters..) and an object is a visual representation Bitmap image A vector image, is an image made up from thousands of tiny dots, and when you inlarge this image, it will not got fuzzy. They pin point the main corneres on a picture, and just inlarge it via those points.
