Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Transcript: 1 m Y 2 A Walk to Remember p g b X fifty-seven year old Landon tells the story in a flashback. Forty years earlier, he is 17 years old. He is the student body president and needed a date to homecoming, so he asked Jamie since there was nobody left. He felt partly embarrassed to be seen with her, but was eventually grateful that she'd accompanied him to the dance. In the days that followed, Jamie asked Landon to be the lead in the school production of her father's play, which he hesitantly agreed to. After every rehearsal he would walk her home and had to endure countless teasing from his friends. Plot E But with the time they spent together, they learn more about each other. He learns that she spends her time helping at the orphanage and that her wish for the future is to get married and have her dad walk her down the isle. On the night of the play, Landon finally delivers his line: "You're Beautiful" correctly because he had actually meant it and realized that he had fallen in love with Jamie. She later asks him for a favor to collect money for her donation jars so she could get special Christmas gifts for the orphanage. So they spend Christmas together and she gifts him her mother's Bible. He takes her out a few times before professing his love, which is when she tells him that he cannot love her because she's dying of leukemia. more plot Jamie continues to get worse and doesn't go back to school. She wishes to die peacefully at home, which was made possible with the help of Landon's father. Although, Landon has done more than enough, he still feels like there is something else he could do for her. He then thinks back to when she told him about wanting to get married, and asks her father for permission. They get married the way Jamie wanted with her father walking her down the isle in a church in front of the whole town. The story closes with 57 year old Landon recalling these moments still wearing his wedding ring, and an ambiguous ending that fills you with hope. more more plot D Characterization he is a dynamic character that changes for the better. At the beginning of the novel, he always judged a book by its cover and made fun of people in school and after he started spending time with Jamie, his personality changes dramatically and he begins to think of the welfare of other people. Landon a kind soul that goes out of her way to help others. And she carries a bible around to simply feel connected to her late mother. She never loses faith in people or her beliefs and never tries to push them onto other people. She always sees the good in everyone no matter how they treat her. She believed in Landon and helped him grow as a person. Jamie F Theme I think the theme is love conquers all because they got through many challenges presented toward them when, they had each other. Landon also still wears his wedding ring 40 years later signifying that his love for Jamie is still all the same. And in the last sentence of the book, it says, "I smile slightly, looking toward the sky, knowing there's one thing I still haven't told you: I now believe, by the way, that miracles can happen." While this could be interpreted differently, I chose to believe that the miracle was that he got to know Jamie, and though their time together was ephemeral, it made a lasting impact on his life.

Transcript: Conclusion The Main Characters by Lois Lowery Opinion The Setting I absolutely love this book. It is a story of heart and morality. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a book about questioning how you think about things. Plot Jonah is a boy of 12 years old. He is about to get his job, what he will be assigned to to for the rest of his life. This story is set in a futuristic dystopian version of the American society. The world is a world of no fear, no anger, and no pain. The people who live in this world have an interesting way of life. There are no parents. When children are born they are given to Nurturers, who will care for them like parents until they become adults and move out on their own. At 12, children are given assignments that they will carry out for the rest of their lives. Jonah receives the job of Receiver. This means that he is going to meet with The Giver and be given all of the memories of the past. This is painful information that Jonah will have to learn to deal with. As he begins to learn this information new to him, he begins to see his "perfect" society in a different light. The Giver Jonah learns too much about what the world used to be and how his so called "perfect world" has corrected these issues of pain and suffering. He can no longer live in this world knowing what he knows and all of the things that he is missing. You see, since his world has no memories, or feeling, that eliminates the good with the bad. The people do not feel happy, or delight, or even love, and when Jonah realizes he does not want to live without all this, he leaves to go... somewhere.
