Too much protein is hard on your kidneys and can hurt them. Too many carbs (candy bars, pasta, bread) on the other hand, might make your pancreas work overtime, which can increase your chance of getting diabetes and heart disease. As a result, they strive to keep a very low body weight. Some cut down on what they eat by dieting, fasting, or a lot of exercise. People with anorexia try to eat as little as possible, and take in as few calories as they can, always obsessing over how much food they eat. Bulimia happens by a lot of binge eating and not exercising. Someone with bulimia may go through weight changes, but barely experiences the low weight thatgoes with anorexia.
