Theme Sachi Canton Matsu The theme of "Samurai's Garden is Isolation. The theme of "Samurai's Garden is isolation. I believe its isolation from Stephen moving a way from his family. Sachi being isolated in Yamaguchi. Stephen In WWII,Japan and China were at war with each other(1937-1945).Japan did invade China and captured some Chinese cities.China was allied with the U.S.,U.K.,and the Soviet Union.The U.S. being allies with China bombed Japan. The story novel starts off by Stephen moving away from his family to Tarumi. While away he discovers things and handles it by himself. Such as when he discovers his Dad is in a affair with someone else. Which changes his perspective of him. Rock Gardens WWII Japan & China Stephen "To know oneself, you must spend time with yourself. You will see the ugliness & the beauties.Through that you will find & understand yourself." Sachi:A friend of Matsu who has contracted leprosy that cause scaring on her face. I would like to introduce the idea of putting a garden in the atrium. a garden is a good place to be. it gives us oxygen in return, we give the plants carbon- dioxide, a gas that we have to breathe out. it is poison to us! I think we should have trees on the property to help the enviornment a lot of animals live under or in the trees. For instance EVEN RABBITS !!!!!!!!!!!! with the trees, we could build a tree house and, every other day 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th could get in the tree house asigned for that grade. like people in asia thats why I think we should have .... we could put bushes down and have rabbits moved to live on the property, squirrels to. After reading, they would get the chance to pet them. A GARDEN !!!!!! squirrils, deer, owls, robins, BLUEBIRDS we can help homeless people with food donations, and help people who are in a famine right now.

Transcript: Week 5 On then 5th week we went to garden we saw a lot of things. We saw two butterflies mating . There was a huge lizard, and black bee. Garden! The second week we went to the garden, we didn't see any butterflies at all. The only thing we saw was flowers. Week 6 Week 3 week 4 On the forth week we went to the garden. We saw a reddish bee on a orange flower. We saw a monarch on a blue flower. week 2 The 3rd week we went to the garden we saw a lot of butterflies . There were 5 gulf fritillarys. The butterfly population changed. From the week we were there to the week we left there were more butterflies. The first week we went there, we only saw one butterfly which passed by our section of the garden. Week 1 On the 6th week we went to the garden. We saw a green spider on a green flower

Transcript: 1.) How can an organization help underdeveloped countries? 3.) How can improving agriculture improve a country as a whole? Non-profit organzation to help underdeveloped countries become more advanced in agriculture. Helps 3rd world countries mainly in Africa to improve Africa as a whole. Located in an agricultural building just past Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. If a person wants to become a volunteer, they just complete a few steps including a one-on-one interview. Africa is a part of what is known as shifting cultivation. . Shifting cultivation is when an area of land is cleared and then crops are eventually grown. After awhile, the land is then deserted until the soil regains its fertility back. Africa is apart of other agricultral systems such as Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic herding as well. gardentogarden08@gmail.com Tells about the organization and it's objective to improve agriculture. Goes more in depth about Africa's agriculture now and how we hope to change it. Also, talks more about becoming a volunteer and gives you forms to fill out. With more advanced technology in agriculture, the countries will be able to export more goods. Once these countries start to export more of their goods, they will be taking in more money for their country. Overall, Garden to Garden will be helping countries improve their economy, agriculture, and hopefully people's lives. Garden to Garden gets its money for the machinery and tools from a small profit of other organizations (ex.
