CREATIVE & DESIGN
Transcript: CREATIVE & DESIGN What is creative and design What is creative and design ? A creative design is basically a design that fulfills the objective it was created for. Design thinking can teach anyone to be creative in a few easy steps. It’s a simple process with amazing potential for anyone willing to learn. Creativity is a process and great ideas do not fall from the sky. They develop over time. Learn to fail fast and discover what is possible once you get past your comfort zone. Design thinking is a process used by designers for solving complex problems with creative solutions. It serves as a recipe for whipping up a batch of creativity whenever you are hungry for some fresh ideas. Designers use this process to streamline their ideas and create innovative solutions. #1 Why it is important Why it is important Great design tells a story. Communication is a vital part of any business, and it’s true that a picture speaks a thousand words. #2 Why it is important Your audience and your potential customers need to understand what your organization is doing and what it’s all about across every touchpoint – from your website to your social media accounts, email communications, and physical locations. Organizations that can’t achieve this fail to generate leads and thereby drive sales and growth. #3 Why it is important Visuals are often the most striking way to leave a lasting impression in the viewer’s mind simply because they are so immediate. What’s more – and perhaps more importantly – the human brain processes images 60,000 times faster than it does text, and 93% of all human communication is visual. The difference between creative services and graphic design In the marketing industry, the words “creative” and “graphic design” are occasionally used interchangeably. Unfortunately the ideas are also sometimes used interchangeably. Both often refer to the development of images. Both are concepts that one person can deliver. Both are admirable. But one is a skill and the other is a process. Distinguishing which is which can save you time, money, and great frustration. It’s slim and sleek. Apple’s attention to detail is apparent, with subtly rounded edges and curved corners making for a friendly device that’s comfortable to hold, despite its industrial air. You might grumble about the bezels, but they promote focus, reduce the likelihood of your mitts obscuring important things on the screen, and house the TrueDepth camera (selfies; Face ID) without an ugly notch. There’s still only one USB-C port — and no headphone port. An Apple Pencil can snap to a magnetic strip on one edge, and Apple’s keyboards instantly connect to the Smart Connector. The screen is bright. Colours pop. True Tone smartly optimises the display for various lighting conditions, P3 wide colour makes the tablet suitable for visual creatives, and ProMotion ensures everything’s silky smooth and responsive. The second-gen Apple Pencil remains the pointing stick of choice for precision work on iPad Pro. It’s nicer in the hand than its skinny predecessor, with a flat edge that has customisable double-tap functionality. It wirelessly charges when magnetically attached to the iPad’s right-hand long edge. Samsung Apple ipad-pro 2020 Samsung galaxy tab s7 In terms of design, Samsung hasn't changed too much. The Tab S5e and Tab S6 share a very similar design also - and as the old adage goes, if it ain't broke then don't fix it. We have a sleek metal chassis which is very slim and light, alongside a 120Hz Super AMOLED screen on the Tab S7+, and a LTPS LCD screen on the Tab S7. The Tab S7 comes equipped with an 11in screen, whilst the S7+ features a larger 12.4in display. The Tab S7 weighs 502g and is 6.3mm thick, whilst the Tab S7+ weighs 575g and is 5.7mm thick. The tablets come in three colour options: Mystic Black, Mystic Grey and 2020's signature Samsung shade Mystic Bronze - though we don't know if certain colours are locked to specific international markets. The rear of the tablet has a section below the camera to store the stylus magnetically where it will be charged, just like on the Tab S6. The S Pen can also attach to the side of the tablet, but it won’t charge there. You also get a storage place included within the Galaxy Book Case if you purchase that. The S Pen itself comes included with both tablets, and has been improved and optimised for better performance on Samsung Notes, Clip Studio Paint, Canva and Noteshelf. The MatePad Pro comes in four different colors. The Forest Green and Orange
